Experience: Cook was born and raised in Northern Utah where he attended and graduated from Mountain Crest High School and later Utah State University. He then moved to Houston, Texas where he attended law school at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University. During law school, Cook completed a clerkship for the Second District Court of Utah, as well as a law internship for Box Elder County. He served as the Business Editor on the Thurgood Marshall Law Review, earned Dean’s List recognition, graduated cum laude, and was an active participant in Moot Court, Mock Trial, and other student organizations. Prior to joining Ericson & Shaw, Cook worked for the First District Court of Utah as a Law Clerk. There, he performed research and writing for judges, as well as prepared bench memoranda and decision memoranda.
