Experience: Mr. Ericson was born and raised in Northern Utah where he attended and graduated from Bear River High School and later Utah State University. He then moved to Sacramento, California where he attended law school at the University of the Pacific. While in law school, Mr. Ericson was active in the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, received an honors scholarship for the 2005-06 academic year, and was the recipient of the 2006-07 Kierny Family Memorial Scholarship. In 2006, Mr. Ericson completed a judicial clerkship for the First District Court of Utah, where he did extensive research and prepared written Bench Memoranda for the Court. Before returning to Northern Utah, Mr. Ericson worked for two years at the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office in Stockton, California, where he served as the Law Clerk for the Gang Violence Suppression Unit.
